i have a 2010 Prius 4 with nav. The nav screen won't flip up so I can eject or insert CDs. It tries, but never succeeds. There are 4 CDs in the disc changer, but when I hit eject/close it doesn't register any of them. When I push audio, I can choose different CDs and they all play, but I'm stuck with the same 4 CDs. My music tastes have changed and I want to listen to something else. Any ideas other than put the music on my iPhone and play it through Bluetooth?

try pulling the fuse or disconnecting the 12v battery for a few minutes.

It sounds like a mechanical problem, sorry to say. Taking it apart might reveal an easily repairable problem, or it may not. I hate when people give lame answers, so please don't take this one that way:

Switching to digital files may not be such a bad idea in this case. When I inquired about upgrading my own central head-unit, they quoted me $8000.

    $8000 wow!
What did you want to upgrade to?
I think I'd want a James Bond type of set up for that type of cash.

I can't say for certain if the estimate is true, but the service manager told me that's what it would cost if I wanted to upgrade it to the next-best version, with the bigger display panel.
