I am looking for step by step instructions for replacing the traction battery pack in a 2010 Prius IV.

I looked up the wholesale cost for the battery pack and it is just north of $1700. At that price I can save alot by installing it myself.

    Anyone have the procedure?

    Thanks!

Install charges are typically around $300 I think.

I'm a little incredulous of that price: is it from Toyota?

Also, what's happening with your current battery, are there codes?

$1700 must be a remanufactured battery assembly.
Does it come with batt ECU and all cabling and sensors included and installed?

Wherever you buy it from would likely provide instructions.
