Hello, have a standard 2015 Prius. Before I purchase a newer model Zune mp3 player, I wanted to make sure that it will interface with my Prius. It's the standard stereo package in car, no navigation equipment, if that mattered. Does anyone use a Zune with their Prius? Thank you

Either help the OP or don't reply as there is no need to 'go after' the mp3 player he chooses to use while offering no assistance.

If you would like, you could use your current Zune via a 3.5mm audio cable, to your aux jack. If you want to replace it, a smart phone with bluetooth would work with no cable. Unfortunately, they do not make the Zune anymore, so you are stuck with an iPod or you could always load multiple mp3's onto a usb flash drive and plug it into the usb port. You could literally fit thousands of songs on a 16 or 32GB flash drive, with a cost under $20.

Aware of it being discontinued. Zune has a usb charge cable.I'm thinking it'll work just fine. Zune HD were like the iPod when they came out so should be good. I surely have no aux Jack. Only usb jack in center storage box

On my '13, there is an aux jack, under the arm rest, right under the usb port, same rubber flap. I have the standard audio, not premium. Did they remove it on yours?

It's probably better to transfer your Zune mp3 files to a USB stick as suggested. It's less than $20. The reason for that is because you can fully access your music in the stereo itself. Using the 3.5mm AUX input will require you to look at the Zune to change music. Probably a lot safer to look at the stereo than holding a device that looks like a phone. Also, if your Zune is like my iPod, it will take a significant amount of time for the Prius to boot up and find the device. It's quick with a USB drive.

I'd try the usb. I used to use an auxiliary cable in my '07 and the transfer quality from my iPod was horrible.

Anyone know what extensions are supported by the stereo?
