    Cheer up!

    EV use in the PiP still = decreased local air pollution, decreased dependence on foreign oil, and less CO2 produced in most places in the U.S.

    I finally found the older article saying PiP2 needs 10 miles vs. 6 miles for CARB tests. The current PiP starts the engine briefly at 6-miles in the EPA test cycle.

    Where's the plug spot on that image? I see one that appears to be a gas cap cover, but I'm not seeing the other one for the plug.

    Interesting commentary regarding cost to drive electric v gas
    With regulated electricity flat rate cost of 12 cents kwh (no time of day pricing) and local ga price swings from 1.50 litre ($5.60 gallon) to current low of 88 cents . Litre ( 3.30 gallon)
    Electricity is a great deal !

    Depends on the province too. Electricity is cheap and super clean in Quebec. They have all hydro power (or at least >97% hydro), and consistently have surplus electricity (which they sell to neighbours).
