Hi guys, this will be my first hybrid car and very first car. I am trying to save gas and cheap out. A dealer nearby wants to offer me a 2015 Prius 4 Blizzard Pearl
    with JBL Audio,
    Heads up display
    Deluxe solar roof package,
    tint, etc. bells and whistles

The MSRP for the vehicle is 35k, vehicle has 250miles in it from "Vehicle transport from dealer to dealer"
They are willing to give it to me for $28,500 drive out, that is with TTL. OTD 28,500.

Is this a good deal for a 2015?? Its been on the lot for awhile because its already february 2016. i dont know if i could get any cheaper than this.

Just trying to see if it worth it. Im also looking at the Honda Fit 2016 EX. THey are also made in japan now so im interested as well but the Fit costs 10k cheaper than Toyota prius .....

    Thanks guys!!!

I am thinking you can do better. They were selling at those prices before the 2016 were out.

    2016 is out now.

Used prices on these hybrids cars has tanked and will continue to tank as gas prices continue to drop.

I don't know how it works in TX but if that's the lowest price they'll go, think about what accessories you would like ahead of time before you walk into the dealer. They may be able to swing that way instead of actual cash back.

I was thinking stuff like rubber mats or cargo net or rear bumper protector.

That car pkg 4 with solar should be MSRP of $33,7-ish. What else is on it besides tint to mark it up that much?

As for price 28.5 otd w/ttl is great. I bought the same car 6 weeks ago and paid 29ish otd and my MSRP was only $33300.

Get them to throw in the accessories. I got all weather mats. I should have gotten the cargo net ( I didn't realize the one from my gen2 wouldn't work) and the center console tray (didnt know they stopped putting those in).

if you're trying to cheap out, the fit is probably your best bet, or a prius pkg 2 if you can find.

The vehicle protection package is the big extra.

What the he** is "solar protection?"

Either way that is a good price if this is the car you want.
