It turns out that if you just Google "Cargo Space <name of car>" you get your answers.
    2016 CT200h = 14.3 cubic feet
    2016 Prius = 24.6 to 27.4 cubic feet

I saw it yesterday at the dealer and, until someone comes with a replacement for the shiny white urinal looking plastic tray between the front seats, I have to pass buying the car I was so much waiting for! It looks awful as new and will look even worse once the shiny plastic is scratched! I can't believe someone decided to put this in the car! It really kills the look of an otherwise great car. I also found that exterior visibility is not as good as previous model...

I can't really disagree with any of this, but I think the front seat bidet problem is so bad we're going to see 3rd party solutions beyond Toyota's "pay us $300 to decrapify your car's interior" applique package. We may resort to that, but I'd like to give it some time first, at least in part because I'm not convinced that glossy black hard plastic is going to age much better than the glossy white (and perhaps worse), but also because I'm holding out hope for amusing alternatives in the aftermarket (something that better matches our beige interior, for instance). I imagine I'll be Googling for that pretty regularly this year.

On the visibility front, yes, I think the Gen4's C pillar is quite a bit worse than the Gen2's, at least as I perceived it on the test drive. As I've noted elsewhere, there is much needless oddity about the Gen4 inside and out, but I don't think it's enough to ruin the car.

I am sure Prius G4 will be closest to Lexus, Prius ever. CT is very old now, I think Prius will beat it in many things however they are pretty different vehicles... closer to CT is Auris that is now sold as Scion iM for $10k less.

Lexus IS and Avalon have nothing to do with each other... it is Lexus ES and Avalon, difference in price is not that big.

For instance, NX and Rav4 share a lot but once you get into and drive both cars, they are very different.

I agree that shiny black plastic may not be much better in terms of scratches. I am hoping a 3rd party will bring a soft padded version of the console...

No. The NX competes with the GLC (née GLK). The CT will be a class smaller.

2014 Toyota Prius vs. 2014 Lexus CT 200h: What's the Difference? - Autotrader

I can't upload the pic but it's 14cm shorter (just under 5" shorter) in length.

I drove it at the auto show last year. I can't remember the details but I recall coming away not really impressed. I suspect the regular NX200t might be more fun (and significantly cheaper). The car that left me impressed at the green vehicle test drive was the Fusion Energi.

Yeah but we know Toyota gives absolute max cargo space. There's no way the CT is 2x that of the Prius. Realistically, the Gen 4 (if we were to use the same metrics as the CT), is closer to 16-17 cu. ft.

I looked at pictures of the interior of a CT200h and there is no way I'd buy that, it needs major updating. It looks like my old car which was 11 years old.

Several reviewers say the NX 200t is nicer to drive than the NX 300h. NX 200t is 235 HP 2 L turbo with 7.5 s 0-60. Gas mileage is 22 city / 28 highway so not great but acceptable for a gas-only vehicle.

However, both are lacking in storage space for a CUV. And the NX 300h is just way too costly for what you get IMO. The Executive package NX 200t (which has all the safety features) is already CAD$53950 (minus $1000 incentive), whereas the NX 300h Executive is CAD$60200 (minus $1000 incentive). In contrast, the RAV4 Hybrid Limited with Technology Package is $41190.

So, IOW, despite having the same engine and same safety features, the NX 300h Executive is 44% more expensive than the RAV4 Hybrid Limited with Technology Package.

Toyota has definitely kept the pricing structure very separate.

Yup. Toyota has been pushing up the price of the Lexus to give more separation and to make it a more premium vehicle. At $60,000 for the NX300h (wow, the NX is available 2 ways now. It used to be only be available in Executive trim), it's not that much more than the 2015 RX450h. Of course the brand new 2016 RX450h has been bumped up to $68,950, again to keep the price separation. I think it's offsetting the price increases in Toyota vehicles.

Umm - that IS the "pay us $300 to decrapify your car's interior" option to which I referred. I knew that was already "done". My point was it kind of sucks, on multiple levels. But yeah, I might still do it if nothing better turns up.

I'd hope the Toyota price includes dealer installation, else it's insanely overpriced. In that case, yeah, just buy the parts through eBay if you trust the seller. (I don't mean that as a knock on eBay; quite the contrary, I always replace my Verizon flip-phone on eBay because VZW won't sell me a new phone unless I give up my grandfathered $10/mo. prepaid plan.)

    Merged.

Pretty much what I'm hoping as well, hopefully coordinated with the interior upholstery. There are only three colors, after all, and only two if you figure black works okay with Moonstone. A durable soft-touch material that coordinates with our harvest beige/brown would be nice. I guess the market for that is going to depend on how well the Gen4 sells in the "porcelain enhanced" 3/4 trim levels.

Until then, you can try covering most of it with colored Contact Paper(actually a vinyl).

Maybe I'm the only one that kind of likes the white :) Of course I don't spend time hanging out in men's bathrooms either.

I think many of us like it. Looks better in person and I think looks very appropriate in the Blizzard Pearl car.

I don't think many people will cross shop Toyota and Lexus. Similar the drive train and engine on the Rav-4 Hybrid is almost the same as the NX but I don't think someone who are willing to spend the extra money would consider the Rav-4. If this was the case back when the ES was based on the Camry everyone would of brought the Camry and pocket the difference.

I would consider cross shopping The Rav-4 vs the NX hybrids if I could see added value in the Lexus such as much better handling, quieter cabin, extra features that I want, etc. The non hybrid NX does include a turbo engine not available in the Rav-4 but the hybrid power trains are basically the same.

Unfortunately, the pricing for the NX hybrid is beyond ridiculous. The Rav-4 Hybrid costs $700 more than the non hybrid. The NX hybrid costs $5000 more than the non hybrid NX. They must think that Lexus buyers don't think at all about value. Maybe that is true, at least for some buyers.

Interestingly, when Toyota releases their monthly sales figures, they break out the hybrid Rav-4 sales but don't do that for the NX. They must not be selling many NX hybrids.

that is kind of like the Highlander. I tried to push interest in the Highlander to my husband but he thinks it is too big of a car, but I'd spring for the hybrid if we went that route. It is a large leap in price though from the Highlander to the Hybrid.
