    Hi I have fueled my car full tank and have already drove for 210 km but my fuel Guage is still on full bars is it possible

    In the USA Gen2 with flexible tank the answer is YES. The first "pip" can last about 150-160 miles at 50 Miles per Gal. That would be up to about 250 km. Sometimes it does not fill up as much. In winter in the USA I get almost zero miles per first pip, but warmer weather can get up to 150 miles.

    Yes interesting post above (I now see the Mods moved this thread out of Bill Merchant's old thread) I was just wondering how the tank fuel sensor works. Seems to me in winter it is not allowing as much fuel to be pumped in. We used to say this was due to the the flexible tank, but seems to me it is not letting as much height of fuel in the tank in cold weather. We are only getting 300 miles per tank in winter,,,summer we can approach 500.

    OK so based on your fuel tank reading I assume the weather is nice where you are...just trying to make me feel bad I guess.

    Yes, in warm weather, it can be 100 miles or more before the first pip disappears. In cold weather, it goes away much faster.
