Okay, I got connected and pulled the following codes:
C0205 ABS left front speed sensor malfunction
C1236 ABS Current Metal stick to speed sensor
U0123 Lost Communication with Yaw Rate Sensor Module
U0124 Lost Communication with Lateral Acceleration Sensor Module
U0126 Lost Communication with Steering Angle Sensor Module
U0126 has a blue blob next to it in column between Monitor Status and DTC

Air Conditioner is showing code B1421 Solar Sensor Circuit Passenger Side

In the last week, the ABS/VSC/TRAC warning lights would be on for a while then off for a while. This popped up after getting the tires replaced. Is it possible the place that put on new tires damaged the ABS sensor? Not sure where the sensors are for the Yaw, Steering and Acceleration are located.

I think he men the blue asterisk-like icon that links to the freeze frame data.

I attached a pdf with a screen shot showing the codes and the blue asterisk thing to my previous post. Look at page 2

The warning lights stayed clear for about five days and just came on last night. I paid more attention to the car braking and it feels like they are slipping slightly when I'm almost at a stop. A couple times the traction control light comes on (the one that looks like a car weaving back and forth).

I think I need to replace the ABS sensor. I found this Beck Arnley sensor (084-4441) on Amazon for just over $100. Any other recommendations for this part? At Conicelli Partznet they had the sensor hub for $137 and the wire was an additional $40 roughly.

After looking through some other posts, people with the same codes seemed to suspect the ABS ECU as the culprit, but none of the posters listed what happened after they replaced the ECU. Given all the above issues with melting stuff when I jumped the car backwards, I'm guessing there is a possibility the ECU was damaged as well.

    Your symptoms of:

Car "slipping" when almost at stop
    Traction control coming on

remind me of the behavior we had recently when I got the brake fluid change on a Civic Hybrid. Turned out they'd managed to incapacitate one of the rear brakes. It may or may not be the case, but it wouldn't hurt to check that brakes are in fact working at all four corners. You can jack up the rear, spin a tire and have someone push down the brake pedal to check that it's grabbing. Then repeat at the front, though turning the wheel will be more cumbersome, with drive train resistance.

I was looking to see what the ABS ECU costs as a used part. I want to verify that 89540-47130 is the correct part number. It seems to be called a Skid Control ECU, which makes sense. Can someone verify that this is the right number? From reading other threads this seems to be the culprit.

    hi Scott,
i have also the same problem after reversing polarity on accu. Have also replaced main fuse and also have the same errors p0A08 poA09.
Have you replaced the ABS ECU or only the cable on the picture ? Is the problem resolved ?

I had order the ABS ECU from the place where I had gotten other parts and they sent the wrong part I called them right away and told them about it and then they said they would send a new part. It never came. I would remember every couple weeks and call them and nothing would happen. I finally got the right parts a couple weeks ago and haven't had the time to put them in. Once I do that, I'll let you know. I ended up with a box of four or five small ECU devices, four labeled "ABS" and one labeled "Smart Key".
