    I've copied just a few tidbits from the article in the case you cannot find the article:

    Making its world premiere at the 2016 New York International Auto Show, the new Prius Prime comes with an increased driving range, more power, a higher top speed in EV mode and a modified exterior over the regular Prius hybrid.

    A significant upgrade compared to the previous version, it uses a larger 8.8 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, which allows the Hybrid Synergy Drive powertrain to remain in EV mode more frequently, for low periods of time, improving fuel consumption and ultimately the car's driving range.

    With a claimed average fuel consumption figure of just 168 mpg (1.4 liters/100 km), the best rating of any PHEV, it emits 32 g/km of CO2 and allows a total driving range of 22 miles (35 km) in full electric mode at speeds up to 84 mph (135 km/h).

    Compared to the new Prius Hybrid, the Prime adds a drag-reducing automatic grille shutter, different headlights, with a quad layout and LED technology, a new bumper incorporating vertical LEDs and redesigned fog lamps.

    Its side profile remains pretty much unchanged, but the rear has been updated with LED taillights running across the boot's entire width, a redesigned bumper and diffuser and a full-width aero glass panel over the rear spoiler to enhance visibility.

    Its refreshed exterior isn’t just eye-catching but also functional, as it improves its drag coefficient, expected to be "among the lowest for production sedans". Its size is now more generous, being 2.4 inches (6 cm) longer, 0.6 inches (1.5 cm) wider and 1 inch (2.5 cm) lower than its predecessor, boosting cargo room.

    disco - It is not clear to me what you are fining 'about right,' but IF you are referring to the carscoops feature on the plug-in Prius Prime, I agree, it is "about right." Isn't it interesting that Toyota would make some rather radical changes to the appearance of a new generation of vehicle that has not been on the market but a few months. Obviously they want it to look different, and I think I like it better than the standard Prius, so in that sense, it is "about right."

    actually, the prime had been designed long before the gen 4 was shown. they just wanted to differentiate it from the lift back. funny, i like the lift back looks better.:oops:

    'about right', were the quotes from the article, reiterating everything users have been saying here, since they started selling them.

    It is sad that even with two tries, the OP was unable to link the article he wanted to talk about.

    It is unclear (because the site is unclear) whether they are using US or Imperial gallons. The site has About Us and Contact Us links and neither gives any hint where they are.

    It is a cruel and true statement that the first site had almost as much information as the second.

    The full width LED taillights is incorrect. The taillights are only on the outside. The 3rd brake light has a cool effect. Up til now, the integrated 3rd brake light simply illuminates the exact width of the brakelight (4 or 6 LEDs). With the Prime, the red light is allowed to bleed towards the edge of the car, so there's a fade effect.

    The rear of this car is very well designed and the lighting is another detail that contributes to the total effect. The dip in the hatch and its continuation in the rear window is unique and very elegant. I can see why the designer pushed for his idea.

    Right, no complaints from me, i like everything about it. The stop light fades, curve gives it the appearance of wings of a flying bird.

    The post above states the "designer is a younger fellow." I think, referring to the Prius Prime.

    The two design elements that I most dislike about the G4 Prius, are the headlights and the taillights.
    Interestingly, the Prime discarded both, and appears with more practical, handsome head and tail lights.

    BUT, we have been told that Toyota was trying to appeal to the more youthful segment with the G4 Prius.

    funny, i like the lift back tail lights better, but will probably buy a prime. prime looks too conventional.

    I am a conventional type of guy I suppose.
    The lift back was a real turn-off for me personally, but the pictures of the Prime have rekindled a little interest. But there is much more that needs to be learned about the vehicle before I get the checkbook out.
