i use Spotify on my Android phone over AUX in my current vehicle. better SQ than Bluetooth but kind of a pain to hook up.

question for those of you with iDevices, are you able to control Spotify through the steering wheel / head unit with your device connected thru USB, or is it only in regular iPod mode?

Your poll doesn't include me. I play MP3s from CD that I burn on my desktop computer :)

Where's SXM? I use SXM quite a bit in addition to iPod and bluetooth my iPhone's Podcasts.

We plug in our phones with an aux cord. Not sure, but I think that's the only option on our 2010. Works fine.

Using the 7th and probably last generation of iPod. Stream music and numerous podcasts using Bluetooth. Sometimes there are connection issues which are solved by turning things (iPod/entertainment system) off and on again. The iPod is kind of buggy too, as it will occasionally flip the playing speed down about half, like 45 RPM vinyl content played at 33 1/3. Perhaps caused by a random cosmic ray strike? Don't know. I have to shut if off for a while to fix it, long enough to get to deep sleep mode. Tried Sirius/XM for a couple of months and it reminded me of the waste of cable TV. The sound quality was exceptional though.

I have a USB stick with many gigabytes of music. The radio unit sorts them very well. I also listen to Sirius XM

There's a trick to keep XM prices low. You have to tell them you got a six months for $25 offer. They'll eventually give it to you, but you have to give them a credit card. When the six months is almost up, you call to cancel. Then you mention the six months for $25 again. Five and a half months later, you do it again...

i meant the USB stick, lol. i have zero interest in XM. i already pay for Spotify, but will likely switch to Pandora when their on-demand service rolls out.

It depends what you like to listen to. I was very negative about them, but they give you three months free trial and you might like it a lot.
