Three year or 36,000 mile factory warranty

    I just bought my Prius which is a 2014 with 26, 400 miles on her....the dmv tag says August...so, does the factory warranty go from August 2014 to August 2016 or is it January 2014 through January 2016 until the last day of January? I'm a little confused about my time left on the warranty....ShaAnn

    congrats! the warranty begins with the first day of registration. keep in mind, you have 5/60 on emissions and 10/150 on hybrid components as well. all the best!(y)

    The clock is started on the day the car is first placed in service. Register your VIN at Toyota Owners Official Web Site to see what's there. If the website doesn't show a date ask a Service Writer at a dealer.
