Murdered out usually involves flat black paint, no gloss. ;)

Thanks guys. I am sort of surprised too that it actually turned out a bit better than how I expected.

It isn't. According to the technician there were drillings and rivets involved which wasn't expected. Because of that I had to wait longer at the dealer.

Random question. Do these only come in one color? Did you black yours out? Was poking around on the Toyota website and Google and can't seem to find anything which specifies if it's just one color or you have a choice.

Great question. No I didn't do anything with them, they came in black and the same metarial/texture as the bottom part of rear bumper. I was actually expecting them to come in silver as how they appear on Toyota website. However it seems that they fit well with the body color so I have no complain.
Anyway now it seems that they actually come in at least two colors which are silver and black. Be sure to specify what you want when ordering. (Tips: just tell your dealer parts department your sales were suppose to find you a car with the splitters installed, they would probably give you a 10% discount on the parts)

Ahhh, and just to confirm you mean that black smooth plastic material and not the Midnight Black Metallic? If so I like that it wraps that finish around the car! Thanks for the tip! My wife actually works at a local Toyota dealership and I'll make sure to request the black ones!

Are your wheels aftermarket or are they stock with the silver clip on plastic removed? If they are, how did you remove?

They are the stock wheels for touring models.

It's nearly impossible to remove the plastic covers without taking the wheels off. I tried and failed with a 90 degree bent pryers. Probably doable if you can stick in two of the said pryers at the same time but I don't think it's worth the effort. It happened so that I had to install a set of wheel locks so I ask the mechanic to take the plastic covers off for me and they did without charging extra.

You are very welcome. Be sure to post pictures once installed, I am excited and curious to see how they look in other colors too. : )

Looks good! Is it supposed to help with the aerodynamics or just for aesthetics? Either way, sounds good. Haha.

How much did you end up paying for labor and parts?

They might creat a tiny bit of down force at higher speed if anything, provided there's a little tilt-up tail at the end of the splitter. But I mainly went for the look haha.

Parts were $245.44 and labor was $189 so total of $434.44. My advise is to try to get one with the splitters factory installed to ditch the labor.
