    Hello there!
I am visiting you all from the Prius V section, where I usually dwell. I am looking to buy a second Prius , this time a Prius C, because the wife quote think its quote "so freaking cute". lol.
So, looking through Toyotas website, I noticed there more models than there should be and it seems overly complicated. So what I would like to do is list here the features that I am looking for , and hopefully you all experienced owners can shoot out some recommendations.
    Looking for:
    -GPS
-WIfe likes the persona series color, but it doesnt seem to have GPS available at all? wth?
-lane assist and all that would be nice, but not indispensable.

Also, if anyone here recently bought a 2016 model, I would like some tips on pricing.

    Thanks for your help!

I rode in a persona Series model before the standard line was available and it seemed most like the trim 1 in general. No GPS for sure. If you want GPS and the new safety features check out Prius C Build or Trim 4. A Trim 3 wouks have GPS but may not have the lane feature. Tour a dealership and be strong.

See that's why I'm confused. The Toyota website, when you click on compare all models, lists the persona as not having GPS available at all. Yet, all my local dealership specifically list their in stock personal as having navigation. So which is it? Also, according to the website, only the trim 4 has back up camera? Is this true?

The Prius c four and three are so hard to find in Houston! I really need assistance. It's so confusing. The dealers say one thing and Toyota website says another

I purchased brand new 2006 Prius in South Carolina, new Prius 2010 in Georgia and new 2015 Prius v in Houston. The best purchasing experience and price was in South Carolina and Georgia, the worst was in Houston. Houston Toyota dealers have low Prius inventory and pricing the worst, the funny part is that Toyota dealers in Houston taunt that they sell Prius cars fast, yet I see more trucks and SUV on the road. Driving in Houston or in Texas in general is another experience that people need to understand. If you dire to purchase Prius C 4, You go to costco, and get their preferred pricing thru their dealer network to order for you. Or you can check out other major cities Toyota dealers (Dallas or Austin..). If you can not find nor want to order and willing to pay cash for the vehicle, then I would purchase vehicle from another nearby state and ship to you.

I'm not sure I would trust the Toyota web site. If you go to it today and Build a Prius, you can't select any interior color except black for most colors. Dealers' lots have various colors with other interiors. My advise, go view what's in a dealer's lot, take pictures of the window stickers and then compare at your leisure.

Have you used the Costco thing before? I am a Costco member. I'm intrigued.

Only Trim 4 has back up camera, true. It is also the only one to have heated seats. Standard instead of option the moonroof. GPS comes only in trim 3 and 4. The Persona models are lower trimmed. It makes no sense to me because I had an impression that limited editions in general pulled out all the stops. Not so in this case.

Dealers can arrange trades with other dealers to acquire a car you want. Let a dealer search for the car you are looking for.

Yes, I have used Costco. Go to Costco website, select "tires & auto", select "auto services", select "Costco auto program". Pricing will lower than most of Houston Toyota dealers.
You can also go to truecar.com and select manufacturer, select prius c, input zip code, select model , and will tell you some basic information on what other purchased vehicle and dealers that may have vehicle.

Weirdest thing is cars.com, cargurus.com, Toyota website and different dealers do not have trim 4 as an option in the drop down menu. I can't understand why. Is it special order only? I hope Costco gives me an option.. I'll check when I get home

Apparently not if you go to Longview, which (for curiosity I searched) may be the closest that trim is to you. Use 200 mile search radius.

I didn't notice, sorry. Then it seems like that for all intents and purposes your desired car is either a transport/drive from afar or a custom order. You miss incentives with custom orders but you would be the first driver after its road tests. You probably would not want to break it in on a long road trip so getting it shipped to you is best. Toyotas are made in this country in several plants.

What year? Haven't researched any other year, but Prius c 4 2016 HAS to come standard with that. If it doesn't you got duped. And I talked to the infamous Dianne Whitmire (she's in South cali) on the phone and she confirmed what the Prius c trim 4 supposed to have

Back up camera is standard for the 4, but it seems like you got the 3 with moonroof option. Do you have heated seats? If not, you have Trim 3.

All new cars come with back up cameras now, its a federal law. Also Prius C is built in Japan only. The only major options are heated seats, moon roof, GPS, other then that the cars are not that different.

Never heard of this. Not trying to call you out on it but I ve been shopping at different dealers and I never saw mentioned that backup camera was required on every car, and definitely didn't see it in every new car. I fact, it wasn't included in most cars on the lot.
