Looking for recommendations: Shopping for a 2016 Prius C

    Not until 2018.

    Prius C 3 and 4 differ in the added features and a back up camera is just on the 4, but one could have a 3 with an added moonroof, and it already has the nav. Standard does not mean it is required, it means that it is the package as designed for that version. The package of a Trim 4 always has the backup camera. The package of the Trim 3 never has the backup camera without after market installation.

    Well you are correct but the actual rule would start phasing in on May 1, 2016 models and be at 100% May 1, 2018. Many manufactures have already started adding back up cameras as standard options.

    The only reason I was doing trim 4 is the backup camera. Wondering if I can get away with a trim 3 under that policy..

    My local dealer had a 2016 C1 and it had a backup camera (this was last month). I noticed the backup camera and salesman told me Toyota placing backup cameras in all 2016 Cs.
