We've got a Blizzard pearl 2015 Five with 16k miles on it already:

And the lease on my wife's RAV4 was ending, and the dealer and TFS have both been calling, trying to lure us in. We'd sat in a few of he new Prius as well as a few other cars (Volt!) and were probably going to get a new 4th gen. But this week I poked around the local dealer used lot and they had two 2014 Plug-in Prius around...

Stopped in last night and did a deal!

23k miles, ended up getting it for $18,000 and they ate our last two lease payments as well. Car is pristine in and out, and drives really nice so far.

It's a base - PiP used around me are fairly rare and my dealer suddenly had two, both base. My wife isn't a 'car person' so other than the missing softex, she won't care about the differences between that and our Five.

Oddly enough, I think it's funny that the 'base' has features that aren't in my car: two-level heated seats (mine are on or off) and remote A/C start? Not sure what else yet....

exactly. made it difficult to compare the price vs lift backs when they came out. which was probably toyota's intent.
they are doing even more to differentiate the prime.

Hopefully "prime" design will go to regular model, too. It looks more attractive. Actually 22 miles on battery is also attractive. Here is a hype with Tesla 3, but "prime" will be earlier. I think battery price is really getting down.

    John75,
    congrats with a new car!
