So I decided to go another route. 17x7.5 Jeep Rubicon wheels with a 44 offset and I'm running a 20mm spacer front and rear. Mounting tires tomorrow which are a 205/45/17. Also very soon I will be installing my Ground Control Coilovers.

I'm amazed those both up. My quick google research shows the bolt pattern of a Rubicon as 5x 114 or 5x 127. Might raise my prius up and put jeep wheels on it now for off roading. Haha. Looks dope though. Bet it'll get decent MPG with those wide spokes too.

    2015 Corolla S wheels
    17"

Unfortunately about twice as heavy as the stock combo

The front is more flush than the stocks, no poke, however the rear is still sunk, like stock.

Looks good! Its hard to find a light weight rim with a larger diameter than oem that equivalent in weight that doesn't break the bank in the process.

I've got a set of SSR Comp C in 16"

They are currently on my Forester XT, which I'm planning to sell.

Do you think it would be worth it to swap to the Prius with some LRR tires?

if they are light, its definitely worth it. if they are heavy, then its all about personal preference, mpg vs. looks. I have bridgestone lrr 215/55r16 ecopias and I got 55mpg on a 300 mile beach trip last week. the bridgestone were the lightest of the tires I considered. I suspect Michelins would corner better than the ecopias, but they are 3# heavier. the ecopias have a pretty squishy sidewall.

They are 11lbs each, but the spokes are very thin, seems like thicker spoke equate to better mileage

the spokes got nothing to do with it, unless somehow they caused a lot of turbulence and screwed with the aerodynamics of the car. 11# wheels are gonna work good. if you aren't into aggressive cornering, ecopias might be a good choice for you. they do seem a bit noisy on concrete though. if I had to do it again, I'd go for better handling lrr tires.

Swap 'em over to the prius. You'd probably notice an increase in MPG with the lighter weight. Possibly even a slight difference in handling. Stock 16s are roughly 15 lbs and anyone going heavier wheels lose MPG. I could be wrong be it makes sense to me.

So I picked up my Jeep wheels from the powder coaters yesterday. Pictures do not do them justice! They are teal with silver metallic flake![IMG][IMG]
