We need a regional pancake party with sugar free syrup.

How can it be a syrup without any sugar?

 

Easy. Don't use syrup. Blueberries or strawberries is the answer.

 

But that isn't sugar free.

 

Nah they got pretty good sugar free syrup at Walmart.
I go sugar free on all that sweet stuff.

No sugar added. I have a sugar problem myself (can't eat added sugar) but natural berries seem not to hurt me one bit. Way too much added sugar in everything we eat these days.

 

Even without the added sugar, fruit can contain too much for the average American.

 

Fruit is bad. I get it. Don't eat fruit. That stuff will kill you.

 

Grandfather ate rashers of bacon a day, lots of Pancakes with pure butter and syrup. Ham, eggs the whole bit, and at the age of 94 was reroofing his barn. Only died when the garage door of his house gave way and crushed him (back when garage doors weighed A LOT).

But, he was up at 4 a.m. each day and worked on the farm until dusk, most of it heavy, dirty, hard work -- not much sitting in the air=conditioned cab of a tractor listening to music.

 

I'm just saying for those trying to eat healthy and lose weight, they will not see results switching to fruit if their intake of sugar doesn't change.

love the smell of bacon in the morning. and freshly baked bread. talk about childhood memories...

 

i'll take your word for it, i am fortunate never to have smelled it.
