I went to Cusco USA Incorporated in Southern California and had some of their suspension hardware installed on my 2016 Prius 4. They used my vehicles as a "test bed" to insure that the hardware fit a production model Prius.
With a lifetime of experience in aerospace parts, I recognized that the parts were well engineeered and constructed as well as being beautiful. The welds were tight and even and the machining was flawless. The Power Brraces and the adapter for the strut bar had brilliant blue finishes. While the strut bar itself was a chrome finish
The fitting and installation went very well and no unplanned "adjustments" were necessary - which means that all of these articles are now available for sale (I understand that Shop.PriusChat.com may be carrying these soon).
I will post a review of the hardware when I have had more opportunity to test. Looking forward to fast flat corners!

Wow, there are many cusco parts installed, wonder how the ride is. I test drove 2016 Prius TRD version, PRIUS -AERO PARTS Ver1- | TRD with parts PRIUS -FUNCTIONAL PARTS- | TRD in Japan, the ride was extremely taut on hill curves, yet handled smoothly on 90 deg angle corners between 30 mph - 35 mph.

Drove home from work over Turnbull Canyon Road last night. What a difference! The lowered car and the suspension upgrades make the car track like a go-cart. The responsiveness is uncanny!

WOW... this is wild! Love the looks. You answered my first question... about the handling. Just to confirm... you did this on a FOUR (non-Touring)? And do you have any idea how much total weight this added?

Yes a Four. I would say definitely less than 20 pounds.

That's pretty darn cool! I hope you got big discount (or free) for being a test subject.

Hi krmg, I hate to ask but what were the total damages (if you may be so kind)?

Do you think it will hurt you mpg?

Does the car feel more fun?

I have to say my stock 4 feels thrilling compared to my old 2010 Gen 3 'mattress on wheels'. :D

The suggested retail price for all four Cusco installations was about $1,000.00
I think that it has had a very small positive effect on my MPG.
The car is definitely more fun!
In addition, the car has been lowered about 1" with Tanabe springs.

Woohooh! Not bad for a little fun.

And we do need to have our fun, once in a while anyways. :)

I thought the bottom of our Prii were covered with plastic panels. Or is it only the Two Eco?

That's quite an upgrade, Kevin. Looks great. Did you buy the parts right there at Cusco?

The plastic panels had to be temporarily removed for the installation. And yes, direct from Cusco in Huntington Beach.

    Thanks Kevin.

For those interested, or for people out of state, the juicedhybrid.com website also sells the Cusco suspension parts for the Gen4 Prius.

(And I'm still looking for some simple stick-on door sill protectors! :ROFLMAO:)
