You should get an error code if it's not working.....and there weren't any codes indicating the fan wasn't functional

I had a lot of gunk in the fan I cleaned out. I have reinstalled it.
About a two weeks who I had an accident in car liquid nature and used baking soda to clean it. Apparently that was sucked up....

It would baffle me if that was the cause but would also be awesome if that was it.

I think you found your problem, overheating can be the only explanation on why it works properly when cool

Boy I hope so. I'll let you know how it goes. It's happened everyday for last 5 days so I'm sure I'll know tomorrow if it is or not

So have you actually checked the inverter coolant reservoir to see if fluid turbulence is present when the car is either IG-ON or READY?

What is "car liquid nature", and where did this spill occur?

rear passenger floor board. my son spilled a cup of lemonade. I soaked in baking soda to get it up but the powder apparently got sucked up.

With the car in the READY state, the battery cooling fan will be running. Put your ear directly against the fan intake next to the passenger side rear seat. You should hear a quiet fan motor and a bit of air flow.

Also, if you remove the parts in the rear that cover the spare tire and the 12v battery, you should be able to feel a bit of air coming out of the HV battery exhaust vent. It vents near the 12v battery. Follow the lower black plastic tubing to its end near the 12v battery. After the car has been driven, this exhaust should be hot, or at least warmer than ambient.

Even during the winter, my battery fan runs anytime the car is in READY. I believe it is intended to always run, regardless of temperature.

    Thanks good to know.

Well yesterday in the heat I finally had a day of no issue!
But.... Today again after parking and vining back to drive for two hours..... It wouldn't start. I'm losing it over this car. Just very very frustrating. Wish I. Had a way to keep this thing cooler it that's the issue.

On a note, it's the hottest it's been today since this year. 92

Just can't keep going like this all year.

Did you verify if the inverter coolant pump was operational?
