I live in Toledo,Oh. I have a 2010 Prius. I f I tint my windows to cut down on the heat in the summer, will that stop the warming solar heat in the winter? Will I have to run the heater more to compensate for the tint?? I don't use the AC much in the summer here. Any body from my area that has tinted?
The cabin will stay warm even with tinted windows due to less direct sun light, but natural heat. Should you and your 3 friends (from your photo) be in your car, you should remain warm..........or maybe a little hot under the collar.
