Anyone notice the Prius real mpg information?

    the pic is from fuelly, the G3 user mpg always fall 3~5 behind the EPA number.
    the G4 is exactly 1 behind prius Eco and 3 ahead normal prius...
    For Prius eco, the real mpg probably reach the epa number or even higher. it's really amazing.

    Yes, interesting. But statistics are difficult to interpret in broad figures like this, as there are so many variables. One thing FUELLY does track is the City vs Highway Driving which could have a bearing on average MPG or l/100km. And the purpose of the vehicle could make a difference too. Here, the vast majority of Gen 3s are TAXIs, Gen 2s are all private vehicles (too old to be used as TAXIs here) - and the few Gen 4s I imagine are privately owned at present - though I imagine they will make their way into TAXI fleets in due course.

    Taxi drivers like to drive in gentle mode to get better MPG, it helps them earn more.
