    Spotted this silver 3rd gen this morning with redded out stock tails, visors, and turn signal mirrors. Was around 10am on yorktown/newland in the OC. Was in my buddy's car but your car looks good with the tails painted like that!

    We hoped to find answers to this existential question at the 2016 All-Toyotafest at the Queen Mary, presented by the Toyota Owners and Restorers Club. Unlike the mixed-marque Japanese Classic Car Show held at the same venue, All-Toyotafest was open to cars of all ages, with entries accepted on a first-come-first-served basis. Consequently, the field was crowded with recent-vintage and "enhanced" Toyotas, Lexuses and now-orphaned Scions. For lovers of older iron, this did not bode well, particularly when one of the first things we encountered upon entering the show grounds was a row of lightly modified Priuses. Oh boy..."

    The dude sounds like he was expecting a museum collection of restored vintage Toyotas. Didn't sound like he appreciates any sort of modification to any car.

    This guy just needs to get with it. Really? Slightly modified Prius'? Obviously biased. My Prius qualifies as slightly modified, not the ones at the show!! Horsepower ain't what it used to be! When I was shopping for a car after selling my Scion XB, the thought of one of the new Challengers really crossed my mind. But then so did the cost to drive the darn thing! Plus, everywhere I go, there is a speed limit, speed traps, school zones and ..............wait for it...........traffic! Today, I got stuck in traffic and watched my mpg go up, while basking in my air conditioned cabin. The dude who wrote the article is off track and out of touch. Just my opinion.

    I'm with you. For a daily driver a muscle car is of no use. In rush hour traffic all cars are about equal.
    Though, I would like just a little more umph when jumping lanes. There, I said it.

    Perhaps he doesn't know much about our cars, otherwise he would know about the 3 Toyota Japan Prius G sport conversions.

    With the exception of a few parts and wheels and tires, 85% of my mods are Toyota Japan parts. That includes the Toyota premium Modellista parts.

    It wasn't a Torc show, it was Toyotafest. Maybe next year there should be some screening process involved.

    I spotted a lowered black facelift 3rd gen on the 5 south yesterday around 5 near glendale I think. Had wheels, window visors, sharkfin, and springs I thinkI was in my car this time and I think I saw you checking out my car.

    You guys. Today, 6:15 PM, Waffle House at Northside and 285 in Sandy Springs, I saw a WGM 2012+ with super dark tint and blacked out Toyota emblems!! You California guys are totally rolling your eyes, but that is MAJOR by Atlanta standards :cool:
