In your opinion, would a voltage leak to the frame, be a reason to blame it on the traction battery? And possible factory replacement? This problem came up twice in the past.......Which I can document.

HV battery is not grounded to the frame. Your HV leak could be in the transaxle, A/C compressor or HV battery for example. You need the codes and the sub codes to aid in quick and accurate trouble shooting.

Possible corrosion inside the battery case. Open it up and check all the connections.

Geese!!!!! This is like the sixth HV leak thread in the last couple of weeks.

    Here's a six minute $400 test.

    Here is good explanation.

    2004-2008 Toyota Prius with code P3009 or P0AA6 and info code 526, 613, 614 | TOYO Headquarters

If you disconnect the 12 volt battery you'll get one restart.

Said had to order disconnect. should have Friday.
Will pick up print out at time I get car. I passed on belt and pump for now. (hope they didn't cut it)

Got car back last eve. Cause was said to be "corrosion on service grip". Replaced. $453.33 total for diagnosis and part. Part was $39.95,
I asked for the replaced service grip; they think it may have been put in trash. I pressed them for it, they said they would find it.
Prices seem high, but dealers have a person by the short hairs..........
I understand waterpumps have a weep hole and intentionally drip a little. They quoted $154. for WP and belt replacement. I passed on that.

They came down from $380 to $154 on the WP and belt? wow....Actually that sounds like a pretty good deal I think I would have taken them up on that one

i think the belt should be done, why not do the pump at the same time. and the coolant.
