I was the first muppet on here to report rattles and creaks on the 2016 Prius, everyone thought I was bonkers at the time LOL

Another one that will surface I am sure, which I mentioned. On premium speaker versions, speaker covers rattle on the front dash area.

I am not sure why Toyota did not place some felt between these panels .

Oh and the dreaded sunroof wind noise, once opened and closed from the vent position ( up/down button)

I just got my right rear seatbelt plastic cover adjusted to stop an annoying rattle.

    EDIT: It came back...

I have a rattle/buzz in the driver's side dash. I thought it was the speaker grill but it is not. It's coming from inside somewhere. I noticed it as I drove off the lot with 6 miles on the car. Only when the engine comes on between 15-40mph. Drives me nuts.

Some others have noticed a similar sound. Many have traced it to the white heater vent under the steering wheel. The dealer can add some tape to isolate the plastic parts and eliminate the noise.

I had this noise and was able to stop it in one minute by inserting foam earplug between the ventblades that were rattling. Saved me 4 hours a dealer trip would require.

    Rattles??? What stinkin' rattles?

Get yourself a set of those wonderful TOYO Tires! The cabin noise and road noise DROWNS OUT any little itty-bitty squeaks and rattles. :D

I actually have those tires. You reminded me of another use of the earplugs.....lol. I am ok with the tires. I don't have a way to compare them with other brands though. This car is so quiet I am alarmed if I hear the engine while pulling some of the steep hills I have here at 45 MPH. I am running 39/37 pressure and it is not as soft a ride as when I got the car with less pressure.

I had that: Toyota tech added foam around dash pieces (the vent ducking in the dash on both sides). All fixed.
