Thought I would get the ball rolling. Post any and all available products for suspension or body stiffening as it becomes available. Even if it's in Japan, as long as it can be ordered, post it up. Seeing a lot of stuff coming out for this car and nothing in one place. No wheels or info about wheels unless it pertains to what wheel you can fit with a particular suspension setup.

Been on the phone for 3 hours with different suppliers and dealers, the tein coils are impossible to find for the US market. Finally called Tein USA for a recommended dealer who can import special order. These guys will order the Tein coils, waiting on confirmation from them if it's possible. Located in Azusa, CA

I have used BC Racing before on my old Supra and they worked out pretty well. Rumour was the internals came from Nitron.

TRD are doing coilovers and "Motion control beams": PRIUS -FUNCTIONAL PARTS- | TRD

I haven't seen MCBs before, has anybody tried these? Seem to be roll dampers of some kind, which would probably be what you want with stiffer ARBs.

A couple of points when fitting suspension parts to the Gen4. Firstly, you can't easily get to the strut tops to adjust damping for those coilovers that have adjustable rebound at the top of the shock. Secondly, depending on who you speak to, if the car is lowered it can affect the Toyota Safety Sense stuff if you have that fitted. I'm told by one dealer that the camera and radar can be adjusted so it shouldn't be a problem, but Tein, TRD and HKS (oh yes: PRIUS | Product List | HKS) mention that this might be an issue.

I was thinking about Cusco ARBs and Tein Street Basis, but am wondering instead if I might just go for ARBs, MCBs if they are any good and a decent performance damper, keeping the stock springs and ride height. However, I haven't found decent dampers on their own yet. I asked Koni, but they felt that they didn't sell enough for the previous Prius so aren't keen to do a version for the gen4.

Does anyone know if the struts from a gen 3 Prius will fit the Gen 4? Looking into options for putting mine on air ride.

I know the rear suspension is a completely new design so nothing will carry over in the rear. But not sure on the fronts. Wish I knew more about that

Blitz coilovers can be another option. I have a set on order of the ZZ-R through Blitz USA
I would post the link but I am restricted to do so because of noob status.

The video they show is pretty cool. (added bonus). Nice that they show tests to show the quality of the coilovers. Waiting for the slow boat to get mine from Japan.

    BLITZ,
How much did your coilover set cost? approx $15-1600?

Does it have adjustable front camber mounts?

I'm very interested in purchasing a set also...

    Also, how much was shipping?

    Thanks!

I now have a pair of Cusco anti-roll bars fitted to my Gen4. It's a good mod, feels like the balance front-rear hasn't been affected, still turns in nicely.

You get much more of a sense of leaning on the outside tyres in a corner now, rather than the body just rolling too much. Won't get a chance to try a track day for a while, but let you know what I think when I do.

Finally got my BLITZ ZZR Coilovers installed last week. So far i'm enjoying the ride. If anyone is thinking about JDM coilovers, I can pass my discount over to any one that is interested. Here's the way my car sits now.
