    Hi

Last night whilst driving my Prius, four warning lights - VSC/ABS/yellow and red exclamation marks - came on (my partner took the picture) and it was not the first time. Every time I switch the engine off and on again, the warnings would disappear but it would return at random times - sometimes a few days later, sometimes a month later. My car was recently checked by Toyota and changed the 12V as well.

Would you guys know what this is before I send it back to Toyota? Does it look like something serious/expensive?

Open the bonnet and make the Prius READY. Find the inverter coolant reservoir which is mounted on the inverter, near the engine. You should see fluid turbulence in the reservoir which proves that the inverter coolant pump is functioning.

If you do not see turbulence then the pump needs to be replaced. This was the subject of a recent Toyota recall notice.

If you see fluid turbulence then your car has another problem. In either case, your car needs immediate repair attention.

Have you done this check that Patrick detailed in post #2?
If this shows that the inverter coolant pump is working, then it can only be air in the loop that needs to be purged.

If it isn't working, make sure it the electrical connector is firmly seated. When the dealer replaced mine under the recall, they forgot to plug it in!
