How does your wrap look like up close? Here's mine. I know it's not supposed to look like glass, but this is pretty damn good!

Nice! I just had my 2016 Blizzard Arctic tinted 35% and 20% and am waiting for the black carbon fiber wrap to be delivered to my guy. I can't wait to see that on the roof. If I had a sunroof, I'd have gone glossy black.

I am quite unfamiliar with wrap products, so please humor me with a question or two or three. Can you wax this stuff after cleaning? Does it shine up nice? Is it soft or hard? Does it come off without destroying the paint? How do you deal with dings?

It's literally like a big vinyl sticker that you can take off with no issues. You can treat it just like you would your car- wash, wax, etc. IMO cleans up just as nice as paint, but may not have the depth of paint...if that makes any sense...because it is just a piece of vinyl. There is literally an almost unlimited supply of colors. If you have ever seen a car driving around with decals for work...it's probably the same or a similar vinyl material. Dings...I haven't gotten any yet, but if it does ding, you'd probably have to replace. But it's still much cheaper than repainting.

How do you maintain yours and how do you clean it in order to avoid scratches and swirl marks since it's glossy vinyl?

These are the closest pics I have right now. It's dirty and I'm in the middle of a road trip, lol...so it ain't getting cleaner. But yeah man that looks great! Id say mine is about the same.

Nice part about vinyl is that it isn't as soft as clear coat so you really shouldn't get swirl on it. You'd have to be washing with real dirty stuff to do that. But I always wash two bucket system with tons of soap/suds - haven't noticed swirls yet!

I have s bad lower back so honestly I hand wash once every few months and then use Meguiars Quik Wax each time, most of the time I use the touchless wash. I'm just hoping that the touchless won't mess up the wrap over time.

That's a good policy. I'm sure it'll last. Roof wrap is well ticked under all the weather stripping so I can't imagine many, if any problems.

So it sounds like the key is when hand washing use the 2 bucket system. I was even considering not touching the wrap at all and using the manual pressure washer to just spray it off at times when needed. Not sure if that is good or bad as times passes.

Yeah I'd def recommend two bucket. Use it on my other car too. Only concern with a pressure washer would be if you catch an edge of the wrap.

Yep that is why I'm afraid of the touchless washes over time. :(
