I have been searching online for a tonneau trunk cover but can't seem to find anything- even on the Toyota website. Does Toyota even make them? My car came with the cheap cloth trunk covers and they are terrible. Thanks in advance!!

Standard issue in Europe, should be available on the net I guess.

Nothing on the net. I also went to a dealer and they could not find it online either. Strange.

I have the tonneau pull out cover for my 3 touring and I love it. But the dealership sells it for $500+tax. I've seen one on eBay for $179; that would probably be your best bet.

I to thought the stretchy trunk cover would be a piece of crap. I had a gen 2 with the window shade, which got removed, leaving the contents of the trunk viewable. Here's what I like about the gen 4 cover. It's hooked to the hatch and lifts up out of the way when you open the hatch. When you close the hatch and things are sticking up to high, the cover stretches over them. If I have to take it out (I haven't yet) it's light and can be folded up.

After having it in place for a few months, It does the job well.

I have the roller shade tonneau cover on my Prius 4, but I think I liked the light stretchy one on my Eco 2 better. Wish I had that one.

For what it is worth, I actually like the stretchy one quite a bit. More than the tounneau I had on my gen 2. You don't have that big bar across the back to deal with and store when you aren't using it. The cover folds up very easily and quickly to put back in the bag if you want it down. It just takes seconds to put it up and down. I'm keeping the stretchy one.

If you find one let me kow. I hate the new one
If you find one let me know. I hate the new one as well. It's cheap and ineffective. I've looked everywhere and can't find one.

To each his own. I think the new style cover is excellent. It's very light weight, but strong. It's easy to clean. It covers everything... what more do you want? And I like how it lifts up when you open the hatch. (I lay my rear window HeatShield right on top of it when I'm driving. A perfect spot for the shield, and it helps to deflect some of the heat.)

    You wanna fight?! :ROFLMAO:

I have the roller cover. Put it under the cargo floor the first day and have not needed it since. I always have the rear seats folded flat, so it is unnecessary.

The new Prius comes with two types of cargo cover. Lightweight cloth or on the Four and Four Touring, a roller cover.

thanks for that info. but will the rollout, more expensive cargo cover that comes with the 4 fit on the 2, or are the attachements for it configured differently?

In theory, they will fit. The thing is that the mesh fabric cover has T-shaped hooks where the roller cover bar needs to be inserted. So you'll have to replace those T-hooks near the top of the rear seatbacks with a flat plastic cover before you can insert the roller cover.

I just did this on my 3 Touring this weekend. You can get everything for a fair price from IMPEX Japan. I paid about $260 for everything shipped. Took about 3 days for them to get the parts to their warehouse and 5 days to ship it to me. Install takes about 5 min as you will have to pull the four hooks near the rear seats and deck and replace them with the correct parts. Toyota even gave me a storage place under the deck to store the Tonneau Cover if I'm not using it.

    You will need the following:
1ea. 64910-47060-C0 TOYOTA COVER ASSY, TONNEAU
2ea. 64937-47020-C0 TOYOTA CAP, TONNEAU COVER HOLDER, NO.1
    2ea. 64938-47060-C0 TOYOTA HOOK, TONNEAU COVER, A

Is there a European website that sells them and would ship to the U.S.? We seriously don't have any options here.

How do you remove the T-hooks? Just got a retractable cover for my 2016 Prius 3 and I'm having trouble.
