Shift knob replacement

    Don't like the look of the shift knob and wanted to replace it.
    A few questions...
    1.is it easy to remove? Just untwist/unscrew?
    2.what shift knob size should I be looking for?
    3.any other thing should I know?

    The stock shift knob "un-screws". Simply turn it counter-clockwise. As far as what will fit, you would have to determine the thread size / pitch from the stock shift knob.

    What's wrong with the way the shift knob looks???

    (When you're over 60, none of that silly stuff matters any more! That's how I save money. :LOL: :ROFLMAO:) ​

    Actually, what would be cool would be paying homage to the old muscle cars with a Derringer shift knob since a pistol grip would be the wrong orientation.

    I wouldn't mind one that was lighted, but that wouldn't be just a simple switch out.

    actually if the knob is a simple "twist-off" then you can search for touch activated shift knob on ebay.
    I think these are what you are referring to.
