So I have been lookin for quite a while now for a nice loaded prius, which are few and far between, at least here in Canada, but I think i've found one. You can see the listing by following the link at the bottom of this post.

I've read most of the posts of what to look for in a used Prius, and I think the tires on this one are done, which seems to be the experience of people here at around 60k so I know that going in, but gonna have to put winters on it in a month so no big deal.

Missing the cargo cover, are these compatible across the Toyota line, like a 2012 V cargo cover would fit a 2014 Prius? (I searched for this but put compatability in and you get the phone book).

Any other little items I should look for that would have come standard? Cargo net etc?

I've also read on the forums here about the 12V battery and how to check it via the display and maintenence mode but there was a long set of instructions on how to get that to come up, is there a way on the 2014 to get to it easier? Or being 2 years old do I need to worry abou this. I thought I read to press and hold the phone/? button.

It does SEEM to be the Technology package, and it has the JBL system and solar panel, and dynamic radar cruise control, leather, power, heated seats, BUT I was unclear if it had the precollision system and parking assist some videos I watched showed a physical button some show using a key on the nav screen, can anyone clear this up for me.

Or maybe its just a premium package with a bunch of add ons?

Also Im just looking for thoughts on this vehicle generally from the knowledgeable members here. I've done alot of reading over the past couple days and its really been helpful, thanks.

The Prius Liftback is different from a C or a V, but the same as the PHV so far as the cargo cover.

Unless it has sat for more than 3 weeks, I would not expect 12 volt issues for 2 more years.

The packages are different between the USA & Canada. The cargo net was a port (or dealer) installed option. IPA was part of the Advanced Tech Package. The button is on the lower dash to your right. There will also be some "buttons" on the bumper cover (which I didn't notice in the photos).

The PreCollision System can be tested in an empty parking lot (or road) by getting the car up to 25mph or so and slamming on the brakes. The seat belts will retract and hold you for several seconds.

Ya got the cargo cover, it was indeed under the back panels, never been used, and ya got two fobs and had them put a new set of tires one in the deal, so I think I did pretty good.

Wondering about software updates, navigation system updates though?

you have to buy nav updates from the dealer. the only software updates are from entune, they are free from the dealer.
