That time every 3 years where the company car order form email comes in.
I have plumped for a 2016 Prius changing up from my Peugeot 3008 hybrid (bloody awful- rattles like anything numb driving experience and awful gearing not to mention the horrendous excuse for a Sat Nav)
Gone got the business edition plus in "hyper sonic" red not sure what's wrong with just red.
Ordered a week ago nothing yet for delivery although my firm tend to keep tight lipped experience has told me 12-14 weeks so hopefully just this side of Christmas.
Took one for a spin and whilst not a "dream" car looking forward to getting behind the wheel and seeing how she goes.

Keep you posted. I'm assuming those that we're waiting have had it delivered? What was the eventual lead time. Mines coming from a lease company however the dealer where I took the test drive said 8-10 weeks for red 4-6 all other colours which seemed remarkably short!

Just been told my Prius has been built and is just waiting to get on the boat, delivery updated from the 13th October to the last week in October. With this current update delivery will have taken 16 weeks, patience is a virtu.

My BEdn is expected to be at dealer's first week in November, so handover about mid month, I reckon.
Think my order went in at end of July, which will be between 15 and 16 weeks. :D

I would of thought that because they are off the peg specs that lead times would be a little sharper.
Hey ho gets here when it gets here.

Not sure I'd have been as patient if it had been pushed out further

Well I've had an update from Toyota... delivery is now planned for 11/11 so just a few more weeks to wait... I'm seeing more and more 2016 Prius on the road now so looks like whatever was causing the delays has been resolved

Agreed. My dealer told me last Thursday he's still expecting ETA@dealership 7 Nov, but will relay his updates, if any next Thursday

Just chased the dealer and the car is due in with them on the 31st October, so once they have dealt with the lease company I should have it by the end of the week.

Yay, car arrived at dealer yesterday and ready for pick up Saturday. They were going to originally deliver it but being as they are only 30mins away by public transport and they were quoting the week beginning 14th November for delivery decided I'd waited long enough.

Now just to get the Yaris serviced and returned to Toyota finance.

Couldn't believe it at the weekend, some nice person dented the bonnet on the Yaris. Was gutted, couldn't believe it happened days before returning it. Did a bit of research on how to fix it and saw some techniques using hair dryers and dry ice. Thought I'd try a kettle of boiling water poured over it as they're wasn't any damage to the paint work or creases in the dent. Gave it a minute and then quickly and firmly tapped the middle of the dent with my index and ring finger, almost immediately I heard a pop and the dent had gone. Checked over the bonnet and no sign of any damage, sometimes your just lucky.:D

Great news! Delighted for you and glad you sorted your 'dink' so well, too.

Still no news on mine, although the dealer gave me a choice of registration numbers in advance of the event.

I'd assume it's a good sign to be talking about number plates.

Doesn't look like it's an issue as it came of the line about 3 weeks ago, but fingers crossed.
