    Hello my fellow priuschattians!
Today I would like to share my Prius story. I bet you're wondering why my thread is named the "send nudes" Prius, but we'll get to that later on;);)
I bought my Prius back in December 2015, not too long ago. I loved it. I am currently a college student, so i needed a car that was cheap and reliable. (I bought it from my brother for $4k) The days I wasn't in school or working I was adventuring. I'm an adventureholic, so I'm always out on the road. The Prius saved me tons of money on gas. Here I am on my first adventure, cruising Highway 1 from San Fransisco to San Diego. (I named her Black Stallion)
    00.jpg FullSizeRender-2.jpg
Here i am on my second trip, this time testing the off-road capabilities of my beast.
    02.jpg
Added a few stickers (for shits and giggles)
    03.jpg
Next up, i changed my halogen bulbs to HID lights, and for some reason one was a little burnt out, producing the pinkish-purple hue. I liked the look so I've kept the bulbs.
    04.jpg
Next up, i decided to get new taillights. (Also removed some of my stickers for a cleaner look)
    05.jpg
I liked these taillights better, but i decided to put my own twist on them (also added a sport sticker)
    06.jpg
At this point I was still on stock wheels. One day I was at my friends house, and he had some BMW wheels laying around, so i lined them up to see how they would look
    07.jpg
I loved the thought of having wheels on a prius. Later that night i checked craigslist and found some XXR 527's. I picked them up a few days later. I liked the look but didn't like that the car looked lifted.
    08.JPG
A few weeks later i picked up some Tanabe NF210 springs from Priuszilla. The springs dropped the car about an inch and a half
    10.JPG
And of course, i had to do a mini photoshoot
    09.jpg
Some time later i ordered a roof rack off Ebay
    11.JPG
Next, I had my fenders rolled and picked up some 50mm spacers. Here is Black Stallion with spacers on in the back
    12.JPG
Even with rolled fenders the tires still rubbed. I had to take them off. For the next couple months the setup hasn't really changed, except for a few minor changes here and there. Here I am, offloading again with my dog (She passed away 2 weeks ago;( )
    13.JPG
Here i am adventuring with her again, this time with a new snowboard rack
    14.jpg
I found my sisters Yaris lip laying around, and decided to test fit. (Was too small)
    15.JPG
(Here are my friends making fun of me)
    16.jpg
A few weeks later I got genuine Toyota weather visors from Priuszilla, completely free! They sent me them for helping to promote them through my Instagram page (@priusadventures)
    17.jpg
Here i am hitting the road again, this time at the Grand Canyon
    18.jpg
After i got home, i was sifting through my brothers old car stuff and i found an old turbo
    19.JPG
Some people actually believed me too
Some time later i picked up some kayak racks to replace the snowboard racks
    20.JPG
    Fully functional too
    21.jpg
Next up i ordered a lip from eBay
    22.jpg
After about a month or two i decided to change my wheels up a bit. I wanted to plastidip them. For a few days i was back on stock wheels, but not for long
    23.JPG
I found some Subaru Legacy wheels laying around at my brothers house, and lo and behold, they fit like a glove.
    24.jpg 25.JPG
These wheels provided a little more ground clearance than my XXR's, and i decided to see how they performed offloading. Here i am offloading with my buddy (he couldn't keep up with me on his jeep)
    26.JPG
    27.jpg
a few days later i finally had the time to Plastidip my wheels, and here is the final product:
    28.JPG
I renamed her Oreo, as the name better fit than Black Stallion
Next up i blacked out the emblems on my trunk, all except the toyota sign
    29.JPG
And here i am adventuring at Shasta
    30.jpg
Some time later i had an idea, so i plastidipped the front and back lips, as well as the roof rack brackets 32.JPG
    31.JPG
I didn't like the look of the lips, and i took the plastids off the next day. (The brackets stayed white)
I added a small flag to my antenna, just for Patriotism
    33.jpg
I had seen some people create custom diffusers for their bumpers, so i decided to make my own.
    35.JPG
This is where things got interesting. I saw some guys on Instagram had "Send Nudes" on their spoilers. So i thought, why not put it on the bumper? Just for the hell of it
    34.JPG
At this point i was torn between the Oem taillights and my red taillights
    36.JPG
I decided on the OEM. I decided to build a makeshift duckbill spoiler as well
    37.jpg
At this point, i didn't really care. It was fourth of July weekend so i started doing some random things to Oreo, testing out a few looks
    38.JPG
I added some teeth and Headlight covers
    39.JPG
And fixed the spoiler up a bit
    40.JPG
I decided to go back to my red taillights
    41.JPG
Here I am at Lake Tahoe on the 4th. The fitment was fire
    42.jpg
    43.JPG
After i got home i finished up my diffuser. Here is the final product (also plastidipped my spoiler)(patriotic af)
    44.JPG
    And once again...
    45.JPG
A few weeks later I took a trip up to Seattle. I took the spoiler off (too much wind resistance)
    46.jpg
    #BlackLivesMatter
    47.jpg
All black everything ;) I put the spoiler back on for Stancewars seattle
    48.jpg
Came home, went on another offload trip. Diffuser and white wheels don't scare me;)
    49.jpg
About a month ago i decided to get rid of the bumper again, and welcome back spoiler
    50.JPG
This time i would make a diffuser for the rear bash bar. Here is part 1
    51.JPG
    planning part 2
    52.jpg
    Completed part 2
    53.JPG
    And lastly part 3
    54.JPG
Didn't like how the fenders turned out so i got rid of it.
Next up, i decided to carbon fiber wrap my hood
    55.JPG
    58.jpg
    Big booty hoe ;)
    56.jpg 57.JPG
Few weeks later i ordered some extended lug nuts
    59.JPG
And this is where things got crazy
I thought that the back looked ratchet, and that the front too casual. So, I decided to make the front a little ratchet as well. (No more carbon fiber hood) :(
Part 1: Started by screwing some pipes onto the bash bar
    60.JPG
Part 2: Painted the pipes white; Made a splitter; made a one-piece spoiler (pictures later on keep scrolling)
    61.JPG
Part 3: Added more reinforcement bars; Painted bash bar (This has been called the Prius from Hell)
    62.jpg
Part 4: Added last reinforcement bars
    63.JPG
    Didn't turn out too bad
    64.jpg
Decided to take her to a local car show
    65.JPG
    66.jpg
(Took off the splitter because i stretched it up on a speed bump the day before)
Brought home a trophy: Best JDM, 2nd place
    67.jpg
From there, i put the front bumper back on and took the headlight covers off.
Recently, i found some Style 95 BMW wheels laying around at my brothers house.
I ordered some BMW adapters and got to work testing
Here is the first test on thick tires
    68.jpg
    And testing with demounted tires
    69 copy.jpg
    70.jpg
Might as well make some makeshift fender flares
    71.jpg 72.jpg 73.jpg 74.jpg
And today i finally put the bumper back on, and decided to test again
    75.jpg 76.PNG
    WIIIIIIIIDDDDDEEEEEEEE
    77.jpg
Currently waiting for my tires to arrive. Might have to cut some fenders to make it fit. I dont know how well my springs will handle them :/ But I've made it this far and can't turn back! Ill keep you guys posted on the updates! If you have any questions feel free to ask below! Also, if you want a more up-to-date on the build, follow my Instagram (@priusadventures) I post on there way more often than i do on here!

So a lot has been going on the past few days. I came back from Portland and started testing out a few things. I started with trying out some diffuser designs.
    image.jpeg
    image.jpeg
The next day I was test fitting the Style 95 on the front, and decided to see how it would look with my bash bar bumper.
    image.jpeg
    image.jpeg
Not bad, needs a little more wide
Next I test fitted an exhaust
    image.jpeg
And yesterday my tires finally came in! After an alignment, I went to a tire shop and mounted my new tires. (Yes just the 2 front for now)
    image.jpeg
Total of around 3 inches wider in the front
    image.jpeg
    image.jpeg
    Beast
    image.jpeg
    The fitment was crazy
    image.png
I took it for a test drive, and as expected, it rubbed on bumps. So, I removed the fender liners, and took it for another test drive. This time it didn't rub as much, but still rubbed nonetheless. So I had an idea. I had an extra fender laying around so I got to cutting and pulling
    image.jpeg
    image.jpeg
    And then the lower half
    image.jpeg
    image.jpeg
    image.jpeg
Not bad for a first timer
Later last night I took it off again to carbon fiber wrap it
    image.jpeg
    And the final product
    image.jpeg
Not bad. Don't really have any time to do the other one just yet. Hopefully I can find some time this week. Still going to order tires for the rear wheels! Got some great things coming! Be on the lookout!

A lot has happened since my last post.
Here is where I left off: just finished carbon wrapping the fender (still only had one set of new wheels mounted)
    image.jpeg
Next, I threw the front Style 95's onto the rear to test fitment. Here is the result:
    image.jpeg
The wheels were too big, the fender literally sat on the wheel. While I still had the wheels on I decided to mock up a diffuser
    image.jpeg
More or less that's how it will be
Here I am just seeing how it would be with extremely wide wheels
    image.jpeg
Next, I had an idea and began turning it into reality. I started by removing my fender (and bumper because the bumper rubs without the fender to hold it)
    image.jpeg
Removed the carbon wrap and taxi paint
    image.jpeg
Later that night, when putting everything back together, I had an idea, grabbed some tape and began designing
    image.jpeg
The next day I had to run errands so I took off the bumper again (since the fender was getting repainted)
    image.jpeg
    And the repainted fender
    image.jpeg
And taped down the design to the other side
    image.jpeg
    And started drawing
    image.jpeg
    "Make Art Not War"
    image.jpeg
This is how much I got done that day
    image.jpeg
The next day I drew a tribute to my dog, who passed away a couple months ago
    image.jpeg
    Finally mounted the rear wheels
    image.jpeg
I had to put stock springs back on in the rear for the wheels to clear (front springs are Tanabe NF210 lowering springs)
    image.jpeg
Took a little Prius adventure (switched back to my old wheels to avoid rubbing)
    image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg
came home and put the 95's back on. I noticed one of the front wheels were leaking air so I took them off
    image.jpeg
Patched them up, and took the Prius to a local car meet
    image.jpeg image.jpeg
Later that night my brothers Prius broke down so I had to come tow him home(this is the second time I have towed in my Prius, the first time I was towing my friends e36 m3)
    image.jpeg
Made it home safely! The next day I began to plastidip the shark teeth on the passenger side
    image.jpeg image.jpeg
    And the finished product
    image.jpeg image.jpeg
Then I did a mock up of a splitter(as well as a little progress on the fender)
    image.jpeg image.jpeg
    Installed new LED fog lights
    image.jpeg
And made the splitter. Decided to take it off after because I didn't have enough time to secure in properly
    image.jpeg
And a few nights ago I went to another car meet
    image.jpeg
Lately I've been trying to finish up drawing on my fender, almost halfway done already.
    image.jpeg
Still got a ton of things to do so be on the lookout! I'll be posting an update in abFollow my Instagram @priusadventures to keep up to date on the build!

Very nice artwork. I have a hard time understanding how the wheels and fenders are going to work, but hey, lol.

What do you mean by that? The front fenders will both be cut/pulled. Only the drivers side is done so far. I've got another plan for the rear so I can drop it back down

Since my last post I've had several things happen. First things first I had a mini photo shoot when it finally started raining in Sacramento
    image.jpeg
    image.jpeg
    image.jpeg
That evening I witnessed one of most gorgeous sunsets I've ever seen
    image.jpeg
A few days later when it was sunny I decided to throw the bmw wheels onto my brothers gen 3
    image.jpeg
    image.jpeg
    image.jpeg
    image.jpeg
My Prius looks funny back on the XXR's (also began on the teeth design) image.jpeg
A few days later I developed a major exhaust leak. Turns out one of the bolts that connected the exhaust to the exhaust manifold broke off. Whenever the car was on it sounded like a tractor. Here I am on a homemade rig trying to diagnose the problem image.jpeg
Every time I drove it sounded like a tractor, and I could smell the fumes. Needless to say I had to drive with the windows down. I ordered a new bolt and waited for it to come
While the bolt was on the way, I redid my taillights. They went from glossy red to smoky/matte red
    image.jpeg
Next I finally finished the shark teeth.
image.jpeg And two days ago the bolt finally came in, as well as a special present from Japan. Behold: the camber plates have finally arrived image.jpeg
I put the camber plates on in about half an hour and was on my way to my brothers house to replace my exhaust manifold. Here I am getting spotted by a friend in traffic
    image.jpeg
My brother had an extra exhaust manifold, which turned out great for me. My father and I replaced the manifold in about an hour. Here I am on the rig again(can really see the camber here)
    image.jpeg
And a quick few shots from different angles
    image.jpeg
    image.jpeg
    image.jpeg
    image.jpeg
And my Prius hat finally arrived!
    image.jpeg
With the camber plates on, the rear wheels were rubbing really hard. So this morning I swapped the wheels, the 19x9 front wheels I put in the rear and the 19x10 rear wheels I put in the front. The fitment looks a lot more flush and I'm considering keeping them this way for now. The ride is still bumpy, and the tires rub in the front as well, but not as badly as they were rubbing on the rears.
    image.jpeg image.jpeg
I'm leaving it be for right now. On Monday, I'm planning on putting the NF210 lowering springs back onto the rear(rear is on stock springs right now). Hopefully the wheels will be flush, but if not I plan on cutting/ pulling the fenders. As always, follow my Instagram @priusadventures to keep up to date on my build, as I barely post any updates on here! Feel free to ask any questions or leave comments and I'll get back to you as soon as I can! :)

Which roof rack did you get from eBay? Was it the universal one? How does it fit?

You are crazy. Love the creativity but the lack of function certainly isn't for me.

You planning to build a widebody or just say F**** it and let the fenders eat the tires?

It's still functionable as I'm only driving to school/work and back so it hasn't really been a problem. I'm planning on widening out the rear but I'm waiting to get coils first.

Oh wow I haven't posted in a while. I'll start from where I've left off. On my last post I was getting ready to lower the rear back onto my lowering springs.

Another trip to the alignment shop IMG_3680.jpg
Few days ago I took a trip to San Francisco (about 100 miles from where I am). Drove great, but as soon as I crossed the bay bridge I hit a huge pothole and could hear the tire airing out. Luckily had my spare and I drove into a parking garage and changed the tires. (Also plastidip shark mouth peeled off:( IMG_3682.JPG
Currently still sitting on my spare.Tomorow I'm going to a tire shop and remounting my tires, lowering her back down, and installing camber bolts. As always for more up to date posts follow my instagram @priusadventures
:) I'll post as soon as I can
