Any way to remove the fuse box under the instrument panel inside my 05?

    I need to test all of the fuses under there, and I'm having a heck of a time seeing them and getting them out.

    What's the problem can't remove them? There's a fuse puller tool in the cover
    I think. I know there's one inthe front box a white one.
    Get a blanket and make a nest to lay on and a drop light and go to town.
    Hard to remove that box and would cause more problems then u already have.

    What fuse are u chasing?

    I second Ed's question. Even beyond "what fuse are you chasing" ... what problem are you chasing? Maybe there's a more systematic way to go at it than just pulling a bunch of unrelated fuses....

    Oh your the reverse jumper cable guy?

    You want to check the fuses in the engine compartment. More importantly you need to get the codes its throwing pulled and posted back here.
    Techstream on Amazon.com works real good on a laptop as a Toyota OBD analyzer. Cheap.

    Once you have the codes we can help you and then go to techinfo/toyota.com and buy a one day subscription to full access to the factory service manual. Get your printer ready to print ALOT of pages and print out the troubleshooting tree's for the codes the car has thrown.

    You don't have to pull the fuses to check them. Check the downstream voltage with a meter. It may or may not be easier.

    I think it's pretty unlikely that any fuses not on the suspected fault current paths would be blown at all. Check the obvious fuse links between the inverter, battery, and jump point. Read codes and deal with inverter/converter damage if present. If there are any straggler problems, track those down as needed and fix, otherwise onward to other projects. :)
