    Differences from RAV4 Hybrid
    • Mechanical AWD
    • Cone & belt CVT
    • Better ride comfort
    • Those "NASA-inspired zero gravity" front seats

It's supposedly similar in mpg to the RAV4 Hybrid.

They licensed THS for the Altima back in the day, because they needed a hybrid to meet the early ZEV targets for CARB. Which is why the Altima hybrid was only sold in CARB states.

Nissan has their own hybrid system now. It is a parallel hybrid like Hyundai uses. So the CVT in this Rouge likely has little changed from the CVT in the ICE model. I think the system is in a couple of Infinitis here, but the only Nissan that had it was the Pathfinder, and that was recently cancelled due to sales.

Did Nissan ditch Rogue Hybrid for 2018 model? I don't see them at current Nissan web site.
