16 Prius Four not IV - Vibration in Dash on Drivers Side

    My 2016 Prius Four not IV has had no issues except one. There is a vibration in the drivers side of the dash. It is very annoying. On the road particularly it "whines" in and out. Seems to be clearly behind the steering wheel in the dash. I very hesitant to take it to a dealer and have them tear the dash out not knowing what they are looking for. I was in hopes there would be a bulletin from Toyota, but so far evidently not.

    Any advice? Anyone know of this?

    Is it a Four? There are plenty of mentions in this website about "buzzing" that has been located in the small heater vent under the steering wheel.

    I too have this issue on the driver side. I notice it only when the road is smooth and when accelerating with the engine running. I was waiting until somebody on this forum mention this. Glad I saw this post. I too don't want to take it to the dealership because mostly likely the technician will say something like "Well, we couldn't replicate it" or "We think it's this part and so we took your car apart" only to have the rattle back again after driving home.
