2016 Toyota Prius suddenly stopped at an intersection waiting for stoplight as I started out to do errands on Saturday. Tried to start it several times, called tow company to haul to the repair shop. Repair shop said it started fine, took it out a few times to drive.

The car did not even turn over, there were no lights on the dashboard and so I could not read what was wrong with the car. The emergency lights worked. 119,000 miles, 12 V battery replaced a couple of months ago.

    Thankyou!

what do you mean by, 'car did not even turn over'?

i suspect the battery connections may be loose, especially the negative to ground.

I hope you mean 2006 Toyota Prius; otherwise you've been very busy driving. The 12V could still be part of the problem if it is not getting charged properly.

Yeah, I think you've got it. I was a bit gobsmacked by that mileage.
