Someone at VW's been hitting the schnapps again!

Biggest problem (aside from finding 1 million buyers) would be sourcing a million large batteries.

    Definitely a challenge, certainly doable.

    2025 is 9 years off.
9 years ago Tesla was a start-up which had yet to make any cars.
They are making about 75,000 a year and plan to be making 300,000 a year within 2 more.

VWs manufacturing footprint is huge compared to what Tesla's was (or is, for that matter).

so, are you saying that maybe Tesla wasn't so crazy after all for building such an oversized manufacturing plant for traction packs? If you build it they will come .... it's pretty much a given they know their clean diesel scam won't work anymore.

My 2nd project will be an all-electric convertible, but I will have years of fun driving the hybrid convertible before that second project is done.

I will however be putting a Tesla roof on my future house. ;)

An interesting way for VW to solve the diesel problem!
