You sold me. My car is so noisy, I can't hear myself think! A combination of Toyo tires, and poor cabin sound insulation. I hope the Toyo's wear out fast so I can try the Michelin's.

Well, after driving an 1100 mile round trip, the thing that stands out is 'What were they thinking when they substituted lane departure for Lane Keep Assist'? I LOVED LKA in my 2010 ATP, and I just assumed that lane departure would be, at least, the same, or maybe improved so as not to drop out as much. This is not the case. I would gladly trade it in a heartbeat for LKA. In my dreams, I see them restoring it in a firmware update (not going to happen, I know). Like I said, I can dream.
Even if the alarm goes off, I can't feel the steering wheel nudge at all. I've tried it on an empty road, and, nothing. The car does park itself, so I know all the mechanics are there.

Toyo Nanoenergy A29 on our Prime. Noisy & harsh. Pressures of 35F/34R do not help the ride. In the Michelin line, I'd look closely at the Premier A/S. Quiet, great wet traction. There is always a trade off between tread life, traction, and rolling resistance. I'll pick traction as number 1 for my needs.

Like--drivetrain. Smooth transition electric, gas, electric. Good handling. Comfy seats. Gas mileage is turning out great. Looks are good. Plenty of power.

Don't like--dash & controls are a hodgepodge; fire the VP in charge of this. Big video screen is unreadable at certain sun angles through the side window. Can't find a voice command to blank the screen for night. Can't find a way for an audible lane departure warning. Want a way to lock the cable while charging away from home. Heads up display could show more info. Lack of a spare tire.

Jury's still out--giant rear window. Can't program the Homelink garage door opener.

Certain new garage doors do not work with Homelink >.<.

You need some extra cost adapter.

According to the features list it is supposed to have LDA with steering assist. Are you saying it doesn't work? Maybe talk to your dealer? Maybe it is broken?

Does it work for condo buildings? Always had difficulty programming the homelink on a MB.

Not sure. Our new Gen 4 didn't come with Homelink. (We bought the equivalent of a US Three Touring).

but if you're talking about Homelink in general, yes I haven't had any issues with my Gen 3's mirror.

MB uses their own proprietary mirror with electrochromic and homelink functions.

    A minor dislike:

Have to set charge schedule with vehicle on. with the Pip, u could set charge timer with vehicle off. Just gotta change habit and 'member to set before powering vehicle down.

    A very big like:

The pip used 1 mile of EV to go the 0.7 mile uphill from house to top of subdivision, the Prime uses 0.7 EV to go the 0.7 mile.

And fwiw, Prime is only $18 more a year to insure than pip.

Could be the difference between the Premium/Advanced vs. the Plus. The PiP used the 5" MID to set the charge time, right? It's possible that the Plus models that need to use the 4.2" MID can set the timer while the Premium/Advanced models need the car on because it uses the 11.6" screen.

    Just a guess.

I have not noticed our Prime being loud with OEM tires. Next week we shift to studded tires anyway, then it will be loud.

Those with the Advance model, does the Prime Advance have power fold mirrors? Thanks!
