2015 Tail Light Retrofit

    Those are the part numbers I used to order them and that's what was shipped. You can take the part numbers and verify with your local dealership. They can show you the picture on their screen.

    Would the OEM harness from the 2015+ taillights allow LEDs to be used in the 2014 (and previous) taillights w/o hyperflash (turn signals)?

    I'm going to say NO because the refreshed Cs don't have LED rear turn signals.

    You are better off buying aftermarket led tail lights since they are plug and play

    There are three options for led tails but matters on your budget. The valenti tails are the most expensive out of them all.

    I like the style of your's with more red on the outside than chrome. I also like the dark chrome version of the Valentis.

    The abundance of chrome on the stock is what I don't like about them. I've already swapped every bulb in them to LED. My current plan is to spray some of the stock with red tint. I had red vinyl on them before and liked how it looked, but it faded.

    I almost got the smoked but tinted tail lights where I live tend to have lot of tickets.

    Correction: the part number for the wire harness for the 2015-2017 tail lights is 81555-52d00
    As of May 2023 the parts for 2015-2017 tail lights is approximately $387 + $45 shipping.

    For anyone that goes down this rabbit hole, here's the part numbers for 2018-2019 tail lights:
    81561-52d61 tail light assembly
    81551-52d61 tail light assembly
    81555-52d50 wire harness (you'll need 2)
    81536-52d50 LED unit bit (you'll need 4)
    As of May 2023 the parts for 2018-2019 tail lights is approximately $414 + $45 shipping.
