    I purchased my 2010 with Adv. tech new. I am currently at 289 K. Original gas engine went till about 250 k was using about 1 quart per 800 miles. The head gasket failed and decided to buy a low mileage used engine. My used engine was 1100 bucks and had 44 K miles on it.
    I had a shop do the engine swap, they did a great job. Holy smokes it's basically take the car apart and put it back together.

    Very pleased, no oil consumption. The body shop guys tell me Prius has a "glass jaw" thus lots of great low mileage parts available. Love Toyota, hate their parts pricing.

    @ 235k now and I did add half a quart after 4,000 miles.

    My 2010 with 98k miles is consuming oil. Historically, I only checked when I changed it. Got a low oil pressure warning on right turns at 8500 since the last oil change. Could see no oil on the dipstick and no leaks. Added some emergency oil and got an app scheduled.

    Brought car in for the latest recall, had them look for problems, change oil, and replace 12v battery.

    Service guy told me some other 4 cyl Toyotas like rav-4 and carolla were burning oil and they actually did company-funded rebuilds. Suggested I might see oil loss of 1 quart per 1000 miles. We'll see if I keep up the 0W-20 if every 5000 miles my replacement volume is greater than the capacity!
