Question on services/maintenance

    If you're going to be keeping your car out past 150,000 miles or so, you may want to consider researching CVT [sic] or transaxle flushing.
    In most cars, I wouldn't bother since very little combustion takes place in the unit and it's fairly well sealed.....however (comma!) in most cars there are no motor/generators and stator windings in the CVT.

    If not?
    One of the (few) benefits of dealer maintenance will be that the next owner will know that it hasn't been done.
    Also, be sure and look for the leak before you pop out of warranty.
    I'm not very wild about yanking a motor apart to fix an oil weep (not to be confused with a LEAK) especially when I'm not the one counting the bolts and torquing them down.....but opinions vary about this as well and the low estimate for repair in the very unlikely event that your dealer isn't a blatant crook is still north of $1000.
