Seat was OK. Not as comfy as the 2013 Camry. Only beef is the sun visors are too short in length and height. With low sun like today heading south I had problems with sun from the left side window. Something my wife complains about when she rides with me.

agreed, we take our 2013 hycam to florida every year, it's much more comfortable than the gen 3.

i made a visor extender out of paperboard and elastics. how sad on a $30,000. vehicle.

Tinting my windows solved that problem - it protects the interior (and it's good for our skin health, they tell me).

Our Camry is not a hybrid. But, I did average over 37 MPG on a 2500 mile trip last fall. Of course I do not drive like an id10t and have never been fined for speeding in 54 years on the road.

I should've bought that Camry hybrid I was looking at!
(Try squeezing 6 feet--4 inches and 260 lbs into a Prius (Disneyland car!) Now I'm having many regrets.

Trip home - Filled up at a Citgo station in Florida as I was heading North. Was not able to get above 45 MPG even with careful driving. Next gas was at a Shell station in South Carolina. Mileage "improved" to 46.5 :-(. Kept going till I got to the Richmond, Va. area and I was able to fill up at the convenience store of choice, Sheetz with 2 gallons of fuel left in the tank. Mileage jumped to 57.5 while driving interstate. So, for 973.6 miles the average was 50.6 MPG. I thought buying gas at a brand name station would be good but I should have gone to Walmart! Also did not have to drive in the snow as the East coast storm was over and the roads clear...mostly.

Nice! What was the wind like. We had strong north winds for several days here in the Tampa area. If you were fighting those on the 1st part of your trip, they would have had a significant impact on economy.
