I no longer own a Prius and would like to delete my account. I searched all over in my profile and cannot find the delete account button. Could somebody guide me or a mod please delete my account.

    Cheers!

I've wanted to delete my account many times after reading one of Bisco's posts

However, I found, and it was tough to find, a little nugget that says there is no way to delete your account. If you do not want to be here any more, just don't be here any more.

Seriously, I did look and what I paraphrase above is basically what the site terms says about deletion of accounts.

Your username already is ex. It's not like this site comes after you. Sometimes it is hard enough to log in and post . . .

We really don't delete or cancel accounts. If one doesn't want to participate anymore, simply don't log in. That's been the consensus among the mods as long as I remember.

Then modify your e-mail to send PriusChat notices to your SPAM folder.

For Bisco, or me, or any spammer or troll: Click report and indicate why this post is objectionable, then on a PC, click on the users's name and click Ignore. Now refresh. and they are gone. Entire threads they start are gone. You never need to worry about me again! :)

If a member believes someone is harassing them or they feel constantly threatened will you not delete their account upon request?
Are you willing to be responsible if something were to escalate? It seems that there are members on here potentially using libel and constantly crossing the line of free speech. If you delete this post then you are complicit with the bad behavior.

A public answer would be nice and clarify your position.

    1) Modify your e-mail so all PriusChat e-mails go into SPAM.
    2) Create a SPAM e-mail account and modify your profile to use that '[email protected]'

    Bye bye,

I don't own a Prius any longer. My account has been discovered on the Dark Web and I want to delete it. From what I read, it's impossible to delete an account, which I find to be quite archaic. All new members must be made aware that if they sign up for Prius Chat it will be with them the rest of their lives (and longer). Why would this account be locked into oblivion? I would not recommend anyone sign up for PriusChat unless they don't mind being with it forever.

I don’t think there is any personal information tied to it?
