Anyone know of a good source for constant and switched power? Mine is a 2016 three with ATP. I'm looking to do a hardwire that also works when parked.

I have 2016 Three with ATP.

I did the hardwire to the fuse box for a119 dash cam. Super easy. Took me about 15 minutes to do the whole thing using a fuse tap, and converter for 5V usb output. Routed wires down A pillar.

If i recall correctly i used the P/Outlet NO. 1 for switched power.

With a fuse tap you can just keep plugging it into different fuses until you find one with constant power if your looking for that.

I have a Lukas Duo which I had in my Auris Ts Hybrid and am now transferring to my Gen 4. I hard wired it with fuse taps and have spent a couple of hours planning the installation. Add a circuit fuse taps are the same pitch so normal mini fuses fit in low prophile, but you won't get the cover back on. On the Gen4 there are 5 spares. The spare in the middle between P/out 1 and Washer (both 15A) is IGNITION. The one opposite P/OUT 1 is 12V live. The only difficult bit will be getting the cable into the tailgate though the boot for the rear camera. For those of us with the steering wheel on the correct side the front camera is not so easy to position as on the Auris, it's not so well hidden behind the mirror. I will write up the installation when I finish.

Thanks that's helpful. I was looking techinfo.toyota, the radio fuse seems like it can provide constant power. What did you use for grounding?

I also want to add some experiences of hard wiring, I have a BlackVue 2 camera setup like some other members, I just wired it properly with this hardwire kit from amazon

VicoVation Vico-Power PLUS Battery Discharge Prevention (BDP) Device for Parking Mode

Its very customizable where you set cut off voltage, timer, temp cutoff.

I chose the P outlet for switched (ACC power) and the slot directly next it for Constant 12v with add a tap fuses 15amp on each, its a little crowded, but seems okay. I mounted the controller under the shifter

Thanks! Just did this in my 2021 xle and it works great - white/black and dark blue are the ground and switched positive. Everything fit inside the mirror housing, no need to remove the map lights.

Does anyone know where/if there’s an interior fuse box on a _UK_ RHD Prius (2016) Prius.
Where is it, & what does it look like?
I’m hoping to hard wire a dashcam in to it with a fuse lead, to voltage dropper (12V to 5V), to cam.
I know where the Box is on US models, but can see nothing on the U.K. one in the similar or equivalent place.

Its up behind the glove box, so on the near side. Its a small rectangular box with a detachable lid. I keep saying I am going to hard wire mine in. I bought the kit years ago, but I'm still plugged in via the centre console
