Cash on the barrelhead is best, but if they are offering 0% financing I'd go that route as well...

I never provide feedback when asked. I always provide feedback, using my own method, when it is my initiative. When I bought my Prius the salesperson tried all of the typical techniques on me, which I refused. That included a 9.9% interest rate when I knew I qualified for the 1.9%. This is in spite of the fact that I left them plenty of room on the final deal to make money. I posted a fair review on Yelp, and now they want to talk to me. LOL.

But some people just can't stand not having the last word or "helping out" the dealership. It is a weird thing. The same thing happens on electronic devices. Some people cannot resist the urge to hit the "OK" button. Even if the message on the screen said, "Pressing OK will infect your computer with a virus that will access your bank account. Please press OK now!," they would press OK.

Everything is negotiable if the dealer really wants to sell a car...

I like prompting my selling dealer.salesman combination because good ones are hard to find. I have had some bad experiences in the past, but was pleasantly surprised when I purchased my Prius even though I knew the salesman was decent from the past experience of others.
