Your photos may not indicate a water intrusion problem. If the tail lamp assembly was warm or hot from being in direct sunlight, spraying cold water on the tail lamp lens may have caused humid air inside the tail lamp to condense on the inside surface of the lens. If the condensation quickly evaporated, then I would not worry about it. However, if the condensation persists for hours, you likely had water enter the lamp. Did only one tail lamp assembly have the condensation --or did both?

Yes the car was sitting outside and it was semi warm out and I decided to wash it then i noticed it. And yes it was on both taillights so I will check it out tomorrow before I leave for work and see if they went away.

Thanks for replying! I would have never guessed.

My right side tail light filled up with water after record rains. Just drilled a small hole in the housing to drain it. Maybe one day I'll care enough to buy a used tail light from an online salvage place.

I had a similar issue with my passenger side taillight filling with water and molding. The deanship replaced it begrudgingly. I believe this may be a design flaw in the car itself. You see the surface of the hatch lid lines up quite well with the seal of the taillights. I believe when high pressure car washes are used the surface of the hatch is forcing water directly into the weak seal of the taillight. Take a look at that long inside seal of the taillight along where it meets the hatch lid. If you find leaks you may be able to get the deanship to replace it, or you might do as I did and use so clear silicone sealant to fix it.
