I started getting the policy ever since I purchased my 2010 and 2012 Prius' and I plan on getting it with the Prime that comes in at the end of this week. My new Prime will be arriving at the end of this week. Did anybody get the LuxCare Protection for the outside/inside of the car? I didn't want the clear bra for the car because of the appearance with only half a hood covered. Would the LuxCare be just as good or at least protect it somewhat? You thoughts please.....

I don't claim to know the details of that particular policy, but historically, extended warranties always seem to be carefully designed to make sure they don't cover anything that has any significant chance of breaking!

This is LuxCare: Warranty Services, Extended Warranty, Home owners Warranty TheWarrantyGroup.com

Check with local auto detail shops. You can likely get equal or better products at lower cost.

For a so-called extended warranty (they legally are not a warranty), a Toyota Vehicle Service Agreement from Toyota Financial would be the only one to consider. Check on-line pricing from any Toyota dealership in the country, then demand that your local dealership match the price. Me, I'd never buy any of the misnamed extended warranties...unless I was buying a Fiat or VW or Ford.
