Just installed the mud guards sold by Juiced Hybrids on my Touring 4. It was pretty easy, although I did have to jack the car up and remove the rear wheels to get enough clearance. I just turned the fronts from lock one side to the other which gave me plenty of room. All in all, a very satisfying mod that I could recommend to anybody. Plus, it encouraged me to dig out my 13/16" socket and breaker bar, as well as the torque wrench.

One thing I will mention, however, is the instructions call for having a 6mm and 8mm drill bit, marked to drill no further than 10mm. I started on the right rear guard and drilled one hole, which seemed just plain huge. I put the included fastener in the hole and there was no purchase on the plastic at all. I had to go to my junk drawer and pick a much larger fastener to get some traction in that spot. On all the other holes that suggested drilling, I used only the awl on my Swiss Army knife to make a little bitty hole to start the screw into. That worked much better and yielded secure fastening. Unless your kit is much different than the one they sold me, look very carefully at the fasteners before drilling any holes in your wheel wells.

Now I'm ready for our monsoon weather, if we ever get any.

I would like to get those and have them painted to match the body of the car.

Pretty flimsy. Paint would probably not hold up.

Yea don't know if that would work, these are a rubber type material that you can bend with ease, once on the car they are sturdy but still rubber, too over priced, but at the moment the only option that is custom for the gen 4
