    Most places indicate 04-09.
I'm guessing that they're not interswappable.

Well the pipe diameter is quarter inch bigger and muffler smaller on later model. Hang points same just not sure if angles where it bolts up same.

Just wondering about your motivation: you have a gen 3 muffler I assume?

No, gen 2. Was toying with idea of better flow muffler but nothing crazy. 1.8 liter engine in gen 3 so assuming it would flow better on my 1.5.

What possible advantage do you forsee from 'flow better'? It won't be additional MPG or HP, but if your Prius is distressing you by being quiet, you may be able to 'better' that.

Letting a engine breath a little better I'm sure won't hurt my power. That's why I'm thinking of this, won't off set things much. Freeing up the intake helped a bit with the power.
I placed a bid on one I found on eBay. Didn't sell at 99 cents last listing and he's listed it again. If I win it's 99 cents and only 10 shipping. Guy will lose money shipping from New York. Lol

Won the muffler for .99 cents, 10 bucks shipping. So didn't pay much.
