Dear Toyota we the consumer would like Apple car play / Android

    I tend to just drive my car and not play with apps while doing it. :) . Really, the best I can say about Carplay and the android thing is I'm ambivalent and probably wouldn't use it if it were there. (I'm a iPhone user)

    Audible might be nice, but I already listen to audible books in my current prius. (via a thumb drive)

    I guess it's about priority. I bought a Prime Advanced which has a tremendous number of fantastic features while being a blast to drive and outrageously economical with gas.
    It is without doubt one of the most reliable automobiles offered today.
    Putting things in perspective, cell phone operation and app offerings are truly not the main mission here. It's a car, it's a fantastic car; it may not have everything that everybody wants, but it's still a great car. Way to go Toyota!

    I have never used entune, I am unlikely to use it in the future.
    If I tried to use either the Android or Apple solution, I am going to need a new phone.
    I mostly use my car to drive in.

    You do not have such a choice in your poll.

    BMW iDrive took many, many years to get to where it is now.
    Ford SYNC took 3 generations to get it right
    Entune will be launching in its third iteration this fall. Will Toyota get it "right"?

    toyota probably realizes that the average age of it's drivers is around 56, and thus, most don't even own smart phones.

    You'd be surprised at how many of my IT customers, most of whom are over 50, either don't own or rarely use a Stupid phone. If Toyota was thinking like you said, they could be close to right!

    Yeah but you're going to get carpal tunnel syndrome that way young man. I just use voice dictation, and then I edit.
    It works until my Samsung starts transcribing in French.
